Youthline ‘Allies’ Programme – looking for Y13s to train as mentors

Year 13 students:

There is an exciting opportunity for two of you to train as Youthline mentors under their brand new ‘Allies’ mentoring programme.

If you have a real interest in supporting the wellbeing of others and are possibly even considering a career in counselling or related fields, read on….

All Year 13 have been sent an email on 12th Feb with attachments about the mentoring programme, including a flyer and application pack with a job description.

Youthline Central South Island wishes to offer our school the opportunity to select two students as mentors for The Allies mentoring programme, in time for a February 2018 start. They are ideally looking for students who are already Peer Support leaders and willing to make a commitment to being a mentor for two years.

If this is something that interests you, please send me an email by the end of this week outlining your interest.  If we have more than two students keen to be involved, we may require further info from you to help us make a selection
