About the Certificate in Digital Media

We are now offering a special intake of this part-time, online course specifically to secondary students, with school-friendly hours. Students will gain an insight into multiple digital media disciplines and get a head start in a career in Digital Media and Design.
The Certificate in Digital Media is an excellent pathway into Yoobee’s popular Diploma programmes which include Graphic Design, 3D Modelling and Animation, Game Art & Development, Web Development and Film.

Please note – the credits achieved during this course do not count towards NCEA level 3. The Yoobee certificate is a local qualification. Assessment has been developed in consultation with industry, but does not include and Achievement or Unit Standards.

The course involves two, 1-hour online classes per week run after the school day finishes, plus additional time for tutor directed learning, video tutorials, and assessments.

The Certificate Programme runs from 5 March – 29 September 2018.
